We are happy to partner with the Beatrix Potter Society to bring a series of special Potter-themed programs to the Wamego Public Library. On Monday, February 13th visit the library to learn more about Beatrix Potter, enjoy festive readings of her iconic children’s stories, and participate in a craft or activity. Linda Mackey will share Potter’s magical world with children the second Monday of each month, through May at 4:00 pm. For children in grades K-3rd. Registration is required.
Book Club meets the third Wednesday of each month at noon. New members are always welcome to attend! Books are available to pick up at the front desk. Family Night is having a party in honor of Dr. Seuss’s 108th Birthday. So come in to join us for some “Green Eggs and Ham” snacks, a “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” guessing game, songs, rhymes and (of course) stories. You can even make a “Cat in the Hat” hat and Cat’s Hat Snacks! For parents/caregivers and children. There is no fee. Registration is required.
